April is Aveda Earth Month and it's a time for both reflection and action. We have progressed so far, yet in 2018 a lack of clean water is a threat to survival for 700 million people everyday.
Clean water is something that many of us take for granted, and yet this precious commodity is outside the reach of so many. So what can we, and what should we do, to help both those in need and to conserve what we have?
Aveda have developed a six-point plan, with a number of ideas and resource links, and we're sharing some of these with you below this month. Small steps to a cleaner future!
Purchase an Aveda Limited Edition Light The Way candle and know that 100% of the purchase price is donated to water-related projects. This soy wax candle (£16) burns cleanly, and contains Aveda's own pure-fume™ aroma of certified organic vetiver from Haiti, patchouli, oregano, marjoram, cedarwood and other pure flower and plant essences.
Go Dry To Save Water:
You can save approximately 22 litres of water just by cutting 3 minutes from your shower with Shampure™ Dry Shampoo, so take the pledge to go dry more often.
